About this Event

A seamless user experience is the key to creating a successful SaaS company. Most non-technical startup founders have never worked on a product team and have little context for the design and software decisions that power their companies.

This online session will introduce founders to the core principals UX and Product Design and how to build talented product teams. Topics include UX and Product Design Processes and Best Practices, Common Design Challenges Facing SaaS products, How to Hire Great Designers and Structure Product Teams for Success, and an open Q&A at the end. Founders with specific questions should submit them to [email protected] by 5pm on Tuesday June 16th.

This session is led by Josh Cohen, a Senior Product Designer at Transfix in NYC. Josh started his career as a UX designer for the Swedish digital agency Your Majesty, where he worked with brands like Viacom, Coca Cola, and Red Bull Music Academy. In 2016, he joined Transfix, a Series C trucking logistics startup. In his role at Transfix, Josh leads product design for the company’s flagship web and mobile apps for trucking companies and truck drivers.
