Description
Experience design, as a complex problem-solving process, requires a lot of decisions. Better decisions can be made when we use an experimentation process and specific hypotheses.
A hypothesis or a design hypothesis is typically an assumption that we need to be able to prove or disprove by using data, research techniques, and experiments.
Why do we need a hypothesis-driven design?
- It deepens our understanding of users’ behavior and choices.
- It is a constant learning process for all the members of a product team.
- It helps to create product roadmaps based on data and real evidence.
- It improves the collaboration within a product team.
theUXProdigy offers a series of webinars on “How to design with hypotheses and data”. In the first webinar we will introduce the practice of Hypothesis-driven design by discussing the key concepts of experiments and design hypotheses with lots of examples:
- What is an experiment and why is it useful for the design process?
- The basic stages for the experimentation process.
- What is a design hypothesis?
- How to write good design hypotheses?
Who will benefit:
- Product managers/product owners
- UX designers
- Digital marketers
- Software developers
- Business owners/ Startuppers / entrepreneurs
- Other key stakeholders involved in the development of digital products
