About the Host
Bala Murugan
Senior Product Designer @ Cisco
Bala Murugan is a Senior UX Designer at Cisco with over 14 years of experience in designing digital products. He has a deep passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. As a self-taught designer, he understands the challenges of learning design without a strong foundation. After mentoring hundreds of students, he developed his own effective learning path and teaching methods.
Throughout his career, Bala has worked on several enterprise products at companies like Cisco, Juniper, KPMG, and Wipro. In addition to his corporate experience, he has built his own successful products such as goalbook.app, Bookmark Hero, and KnowHow, which gave him hands-on experience in creating user-centered products with a strong user base.
He build this course from his real-world experience starting from an idea to developed product, and launching it in the market. Students will get exclusive access to study his live products and learn how to design with real users in mind.
